Dear Members, Dear Friends,
Summer is drawing to a close and autumn is upon us. We’ll be opening in the HAK on Tuesday 23rd September. This, as some of you know, will be the start of my last year. It is not a good idea to try to carry on after my 80th birthday. For this reason we are hoping to have a BBQ before September is over. In this last year we’ll have a number of special events. These will include celebrating Scotland’s National Poet , Robert Burns, with Haggis ; “Fasching” with a Pancake Race; A talk about "My life in Nicaragua". Looking forward to seeing many of you after this long summer break.
