Welcome to the Winter Season 2016 / 2017!

Dear Members, Dear Friends,

Another autumn is upon us and another programme is ready for you. AB life continues as usual every Tuesday when the HAK is open. The doors are open from 16.30 and at 17.00 there will be either “Coffee and Conversation” with Lynne, “Talking Topics” with Heinz or “Great British Train Journeys” -DVD with Hazel. I suggest you try to come before 17.00 so that we can start on time as well as help to prepare tea and coffee. There is always a drink and a bite to eat for a small charge.

This year was the Queen’s 90th birthday—We have some very special films.

It was also the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death—Vienna’s English Theatre are bringing Macbeth for us.

Before these special events we have to have a General Meeting (BGM). Two years have passed since the last one. A reminder about the BGM as well as the Agenda will be sent out later but, please start to think now if you might have something to add.

It is time for membership fees once again! The price remains the same!

NB. Tickets for Metropol-Kino are no longer € 6,00 but we now have 20 % reduction with a new special Membership Card off the normal price.

The Society is already planning another trip to Britain for spring 2017. This time to the north west of England, including Liverpool and Manchester.
